Guiding you to find rest within these sacred vessels

through the embodied practices of mindful movement & meditation

The Golden Thread
of The Practice

Three key principles Breath, Concentration &     Centring form the golden thread that weaves through each offering.

Breath is our life force, giving pranic energy to the body, enlivening every cell, creating vitality, Ki.         Connection to the breath allows for ease to establish in the body & mind, inclining body, mind & spirit towards unity.

Breath gently guides us into concentration.

Concentration, mindfulness, clarity & awareness are the foundations for developing insight. Insight naturally brings forth the ability to release out-dated patterns of body & mind. Bringing greater cohesion through the systems of the body, to free our minds & hearts.

Centring awakens as we consciously move & breathe to activate this felt sense of being present in the body. Through embodied practices, we find balance,           connection & equanimity; we come to tust the innate   wsidom & compassion held within our humanity

Gae's Movement
Background

Gae trained as a dancer, studying choreography & the history of arts at degree level. After graduating with a BA Honours Gae used her creative & dance background to develop workshops for Local Youth Services, working with a diversity of young people from different backgrounds & with a wide range of abilities; these workshops introduced young people to movement as a means of communication & expression.

It was over these 6 years that Gae's interest in movement as therapy was birthed.

In 2012 Gae discovered pilates as her own pathway back to the body, after the loss of two significant family members, where the impact of grief left her feeling bound in body & restricted in breath.

Gae's growing interest in movement therapy as well as her own experiences of grief & trauma led her to train with the Pilates Foundation, a non-profit organisation, qualifying as a Pilates mat work teacher.

For many years Gae taught mat Pilates classes & private one-to-ones in a Physiotherapist Clinic working as part of the rehabilitation team.

During this time Gae's interest in rehabilitation grew & she undertook a two year training with Pilates Movement Ltd qualifying as a fully comprehensive Pilates Apparatus teacher in 2018.

Gae's ongoing interest in rehabilitation & the mind, body, spirit connection led her to further her studies & undertake a two year training to become a qualified Teacher of Mindfulness, Meditation & Compassion.

The practices of non-judgment, mindfulness, care & kindness towards the body & mind are now interwoven into how Gae teaches, guides, mentors & facilitate sessions.

Gae's Meditation &
Contemplative Background

Gae has been holding & facilitating sacred spaces for groups & individuals publically & privately for over two decades.

With a profound interest & natural attunement with the Divine from a young age, Gae loved as a child to read sacred text while spending long hours outside in nature.

Finding faith in a spiritual community in her early     twenties, Gae had a mystical encounter that opened her awareness to profound acceptance through compassion.

Through her on going seeking, desire to understand & to bring compassion alive both in herself & to awaken it in others, in 2022~23, Gae formally trained with Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield gaining a qualification as a Mindfulness, Meditation & Compassion Teacher.

Gae now teaches Centring Prayer & Vipassana       Meditation to public & private groups, as well as offering spiritual accompaniment.

Through her own practices of contemplation & studies of the wisdom traditions of the perennial faiths including Christic Consciousness, Buddhism, Sufism, & Kundalini Gae creates spaces, sessions, & courses that guide you into the unifying field of connection to self, the Divine & all beings.
